    Who We Are

Ask Weldon Hobbs (Life & Real Estate After 50™) provides educational resources, guides, podcasts, and one-on-one coaching, and connects people navigating a major life transition with vetted professionals such as real estate agents, financial advisors or planners, and loan officers. We do not list, sell, rent, or manage properties on this website, and we do not operate a home search or property listing service.

    Information You Provide

Guides, Tools & Resource Library: When you request a guide, use one of our calculators, or open the resource library, we may ask for your name and email address so we can deliver what you asked for and give you access to your saved materials. Answers you give in our short questionnaires (for example, what kind of help you're looking for or where you are in your transition) are saved so we can point you to the most relevant resources.

Referral Requests: If you ask to be connected with a professional, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you provide it), general location, and the details you share about your situation, so we can match you with an appropriate professional and follow up with you.

Coaching & Payments: If you enroll in coaching, we collect the information needed to form and administer the agreement, including your name, email address, acceptance of terms, and the date and time of that acceptance. Payments are processed by our third-party payment providers. We do not collect or store your full card number or bank details.

    Information We Collect Automatically

In addition to the information you give us directly, we collect certain information automatically as you use our website.

Activity Information: We collect information about how you use our website, such as the pages and guides you view, what you click on, which emails you open, and how long you spend with different parts of our content.
Device Information: We collect data about the browsers and devices you use to access our website, including browser or device model and settings, operating system, unique identifiers, IP address, and the date and time of your visit.
General Location: We may infer your general location (such as city or state) from your IP address or from information you provide, so we can match you with professionals licensed to serve your area. We do not track precise device location.
Cookies and Other Tracking Tech: We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to understand site usage, remember your preferences and saved guides, improve our content, and measure our advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Ads: We may advertise to previous visitors on third-party platforms (including Google, Meta, and YouTube). Those vendors use cookies to serve ads based on past visits to our site. Any data collected is used in accordance with this policy and the vendor's own privacy policy. You can adjust each platform's ad preference settings or opt out of interest-based advertising entirely.

    How We Use Your Information

We use your information to run our business, deliver what you asked for, and improve what we offer. Specifically, we use it to:

    • Fulfill Requests: Deliver the guides, tools, podcasts, and coaching you request, and communicate with you about them.
    • Make Referrals: Match you with, and introduce you to, vetted professionals when you ask us to.
    • Follow Up: Check in after an introduction or a call to make sure you were served well.
    • Improve Our Content: Understand which resources are useful so we can improve them and create new ones.
    • Marketing: With your consent, send you educational emails, announcements, and invitations. You can unsubscribe at any time.
    • Protection: Protect the security and integrity of our website and our business, and detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
    • Legal: Comply with legal and regulatory requirements and enforce our terms.

    Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your information. We do not share your mobile number with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Professionals You Ask to Be Introduced To: This is the core of what we do. When you request a referral, we share the information you gave us — such as your name, email, phone number, location, and the details of your situation — with the professional we match you with, so they can contact you. Once introduced, that professional handles your information under their own privacy policy. We may receive a referral fee or commission from that professional; this never changes what you pay.
Service Providers: We use vendors to help operate our business — email delivery, scheduling, payments, hosting, and analytics. They may access information only as needed to perform the service we've asked them to perform.
Legal & Compliance: We share data when necessary to satisfy a legal or regulatory requirement, including responding to a subpoena or other lawful government request.
Business Transfers: If our business is merged, acquired, or reorganized, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Public and De-Identified Data: We may disclose or share publicly available, aggregated, or de-identified information without restriction.
AI Tools: We use software and platforms that rely on artificial intelligence — such as large language models — to help draft, summarize, and personalize content and communications. We do not use these tools to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
